FTP Explained
Your domain name comes with FTP settings. FTP or File Transfer Protocol allows you to upload new files, update existing files, or download your website files for back-up purposes.
FTP Clients are programs which you can set up to connect to your website at the click of a button. We recommend FileZilla or FireFTP. Please use the Free FTP Guides on the left to help you set up your FTP Clients.
Visitors are welcome, but if you are not a Pixink customer you will need to skip references to the Pixink customer control panel and contact your web-host for any missing login details.
Customer Information
If you do not know your FTP password you can find it in your control panel. You will also need to login to your control panel to unlock your FTP, the step-by-step PDF explains how.
