Text    All text must be supplied in Microsoft Word Document format. This will reduce the risk of spelling errors and allow our designers to devote more time to the appearance of your website.

Images

FORMAT: Any digital images should be supplied on CD or Zip Disk. We do not accept DVDs or Floppy Disks at this time. You should only e-mail digital images if this has been arranged with the recipient of the e-mails.

SIZE: If your images are to be displayed in an online gallery please check with us what size we need the images to be and resize them accordingly before you send them.

SCANNING: If you want us to scan your images you will be charged accordingly: £3.50 for up to 10 images, £7.50 for more than 10 images, to a maximum of 20. For £1.50 we will provide you with a CD containing all the images we scan.

COPYRIGHT: It is illegal to use copyrighted content on websites without permission. As owner of the website you are responsible for obtaining permission to use any copyrighted content used.

CAPTIONS: You must provide captions for all your images (in Microsoft Word Document format) as well as any other contextual information our designers might need to know about your images. According to W3C standards all images on a website must have a caption to help blind or partially sighted users. We validate all of our pages to HTML 4.01 Strict (unless there is a very compelling reason not to) and therefore request that you provide captions for all images.

Timing    Once the design of your website has been finalised, the completion of your website relies on its content being provided in plenty of time. Therefore, if we have agreed on a deadline, we won’t accept any new content less than three weeks prior to that date.
