Background
Pixink Ltd was created in 2001 by founders Sean Pearman, the creative half of the team, and Phil Jaquiery the technical expert. Together Sean and Phil established Pixink - a web hosting company based in Hampshire offering bespoke websites.
In 2005, Maija Liepins joined Pixink and began working with Phil as his apprentice, learning and developing her skills as a website designer. Under the guidance of her mentor, Maija studied web development technologies, practices and methods, including HTML and CSS under his strict guidelines for formatting and standards.
In time, Phil moved on to experience new adventures in life and Maija took the reins as the Pixink web technician, becoming more involved in the day-to-day running of Pixink. She began to manage customer accounts and facilitate businesses on the web. But that wasn't the only development for Pixink that year; Sean and Maija were married, and in 2007 welcomed a baby boy to the Pixink family.
Since then, as a working mum, Maija's continued to expand Pixink, building on her core skills as a designer, taking on responsibility for the build, not just website designs.
Pixink Partners
Today Pixink works collaboratively with a variety of creative professionals including designers, copywriters, and marketing consultants to provide a more comprehensive service to Pixink customers.
In particular, Pixink is working with Simon Howden, Graphic Designer from All Things Creative, who brings over 30 years graphic design experience to the Pixink Team.
Simon's skills include photography, logo design, website design, illustration and design for print.
